Former President and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari visited chief of Jamat e Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq here on Saturday
This is the first visit of any PPP chief to Mansoora in the last 37 years, after Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
According to sources, PPP and JI leadership has detailed discussion on the current political crisis.
Both the sides agreed upon making efforts to preserve democracy in state and to find a peaceful solution to the issue.
Asif Ali Zardari appreciated the efforts of JI Chief in resolving the issue and extended full support by his party.
The Opposition Leader, Syed Khursheed Shah, ex-Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Senator Raza Rabbani and Senator Aitzaz Ahsan were also accompanied the former President.
