Lahore police early morning today removed barricades from the road in front of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) founder Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri residence and the secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
Angry PAT staged a protest on removal of barriers from Qadri’s residence and the Minhaj-ul-Quran International and clashed with police during which seven people sustained injuries. Police used tear gas to disperse protesters.
According to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, barricades were placed outside his residence and Minhaj-ul-Quran International on the orders of the Lahore High Court
