Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met with Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen Rizwan Akhtar on Monday.
Our correspondent said that during the meeting matters pertaining to internal security situation especially relating to terrorism and ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb were discussed.
DG ISI Lt. Gen Rizwan Akhtar briefed the prime minister about the progress made so far in the operation against militants in tribal areas.
Prime Minister Sharif lauded the services of ISI describing it as the country’s first line of defense against enemies of the state.
