Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is meeting parliamentary leaders of political parties at the PM House on Tuesday.

The meeting is discussing the judicial commission’s report on the 2013 elections and resolutions seeking to de-seat Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentarians.

During the meeting JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said it is unconstitutional for PTI members to remain in Parliament and their resignations should be accepted at all costs.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will also brief the meeting on developments in the electoral reforms process.

The three-member judicial commission released its final report, rejecting claims by the Imran Khan-led PTI that the 2013 general elections were rigged and saying the polls were largely fair and in accordance with the law.

Following the release of the report the JUI-F and MQM moved motions in the National Assembly which sought to declare seats of PTI members who were absent from the house during the Islamabad sit-in as vacant.
