PATTOKI, Punjab: Police opened a Pattoki kidney removal case after a resident alleged that a friend and two accomplices drugged him and removed his right kidney while he was unconscious.
The complainant, identified as Rehmat, told police that his friend Raza had invited him to discuss a business opportunity before allegedly abducting him with two other men. The suspects then took him from Pattoki towards Rawalpindi, according to his statement.
Rehmat said the men gave him juice that he believed contained an intoxicating substance. He lost consciousness after drinking it.
The complainant told police that he awoke in severe pain and found signs that he had undergone surgery. He later obtained an ultrasound examination in Pattoki, which he said showed that his right kidney was missing.

Police registered a case against unidentified suspects on July 12, 2026, following Rehmat’s complaint. Investigators are now focusing on Raza and his alleged accomplices after conducting an initial inquiry.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the allegations have not yet been tested in court.
Rehmat appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar to ensure the suspects’ arrest and take legal action against those responsible
