Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Minister for Interior, said today that the whole Parliament is united in the face of ‘lashkar kashi’ and mutiny against the state of Pakistan by a few thousand people.
Opening a debate on country’s current political situation at the joint session of Parliament, Nisar said that the country is passing through extremely difficult situation.
He said that state institutions have been attacked by mobs led by Imran Khan and Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
Against the onslaught of these people in the garb of democracy and constitution, the whole parliament is united, he asserted.
“This style is neither a protest, nor a sit-in or a political gathering, but instead this revolt against state institutions and Pakistan,” he said.
He claimed that protestors broke CCTV cameras and snatched cameras from the staff during storming on PTV building and misbehaved with a lady staffer, snatching her cell phone and valuables.
“They are not revolutionaries, they are terrorists,” he said, adding that the protestors are trained terrorists who are armed with axes, wooden batons, nails, hammers, cutters and slinging.
