Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has marshalled an emergency Corps Commanders assembly tomorrow (Monday).
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the COAS will preside over the meeting to be held at General Headquarters (GHQ) of Pakistan Army here.
“The meeting will zoom in on the ongoing major offensive against Taliban militants in North Waziristan Agency”, the ISPR said.
How ever analysts opined that the order of the meeting, convened three days ahead of a major political showdown in Islamabad, may be internal security.
