ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has extended the Hajj 2027 payment deadline to midnight on Wednesday, October 21, giving intending pilgrims another day to submit their second instalment.
Around 1,200 applicants under the government Hajj scheme have not yet completed their payments, a ministry spokesperson said.
The ministry is sending individual reminders to these pilgrims, urging them to clear their outstanding dues before the revised deadline.
Applicants who fail to pay by midnight will have their Hajj applications cancelled. However, the ministry has confirmed that affected pilgrims will receive refunds of their first instalment.
The extension follows the original October 20 deadline for second-instalment payments. Pilgrims can complete their payments through the Pak Hajj App or the official digital Hajj portal.
