The Pakistan Cricket Board has named a 16-member Pakistan ODI squad for the three-match series against Australia. The series starts May 30 in Rawalpindi.
In the press release, PCB confirmed that Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue as captain. Moreover, Salman Ali Agha has been named vice-captain.
Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan and Sufyan Moqim have returned to the side after missing the away ODI series against Bangladesh in March.
Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas and Rohail Nazir are the three uncapped ODI players included in the squad. Muhammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir have been selected as the two wicketkeeper-batters.
The PCB said Usman Khan was not considered because of illness. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub also remained unavailable due to injuries and will continue rehabilitation under the PCB medical panel.
The squad will assemble in Islamabad later tonight and begin training under the coaching staff on Saturday, May 23. Australia’s men’s team will arrive in Islamabad on May 23 and train at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The first ODI will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30. Meanwhile, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Punjab, will host the second and third ODIs on June 2 and June 4. All matches will start at 4:30 pm local time.
