Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Sunday urged nation to support government and armed forces in the ongoing war against terrorism.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Interior Minister Nisar said “Armed forces have been fighting terrorists physically for a decade now. Time has now come for the nation to join this war,”
Nisar also urged media personnel to boycott terrorists as media coverage boosts their ideology.
He further added that “People should be vigilant and keep any eye on terror suspects in their surroundings. There can be no better intelligence than a vigilant nation.”
Commenting about seminaries, he said “I can say with responsibility that 90 percent seminaries have nothing to do with terrorism, those involved in terrorism must be isolated from others”.
He also clarified and said that Pakistan army had never targeted women and children.
“Even family of Osama bin Laden was sent to their native country” he said
The interior minister warned that cellular phone companies to block unregistered SIMS as five SIMS used in Peshawar attack was registered against a woman based in South Punjab.
