Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan explained that political and national issues were discussed in his meeting with Prime Minister and Chief Minister Punjab on Saturday.
In a statement here on Monday, the minister said, “How this is possible that the country is stuck in the quagmire of problems and I take up my personal problems. Neither this happened before nor it will happen now.”
He said he held the meeting with the Prime Minister neither to complain against any minister nor any minister is interfering in his ministry nor he can do it.
“I was surprised to listen and read that the name of Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar was taken time and again in this connection.” “Whereas instead of a misunderstanding we have a relation of respect and deference and the same atmosphere exists with regard to other members of the cabinet,” he added.
He said, “I am neither concerned nor give any importance to activities by somebody for his personal fame or by a minister for cooling his fire of meanness by secretly igniting certain objectionable activities, as this happens in other political parties”
