Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said earlier today that his government would not compromise on peace in Karachi.
Addressing PML-N workers at the residence of Khawaja Muhammad Asif here, Shairf said that ongoing operation in Karachi is aimed at eliminating criminal elements from the city, adding that his government would rid the country of terrorism and sectarianism at all costs.
Sharif reminded that he had dissolved his government and imposed Governor’s Rule in Sindh after the murder of Hakeem Muhammad Saeed.
He said that operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken the back of the terrorists and dismantled their network.
The prime minister pledged that his government will not disappoint the nation and it will bring progress and prosperity to the country.
Earlier, in his address, Khawaja Muhammad Asif highly praised the successful policies of the Government particularly the courageous decisions to launch operations in North Waziristan Agency and Karachi.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is determined to overcome energy crisis, reduce prices of electricity and gas and ensure progress and prosperity of the country
