Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rejected a summary for increasing the prices of petroleum products since he did not want to pass on the burden to the masses
The PM directed the Finance Ministry to refrain from increasing the prices of Petroleum products.
Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended upto Rs.2.43 per litre raise in prices of petroleum products from June 1.
