Morne Morkel spell supported South Africa to control the second test against Australia as the visitors hobbles to third day lunch on 205 for eight at St George’s Park.
At lunch Australia still trail by 218 on the first innings.
Morne Morkel said South African should not assume the expected slower pitch conditions for the second Test in Port Elizabeth will, in isolation, be enough to nullify Mitch Johnson.
