At least one terrorist was killed and seven others arrested on Friday in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan’s Mastung and Rojhan Jamali areas

In a statement the Inter-Services Public Relations on (ISPR) said that the IBOs were conducted in Balochistan and Punjab during a cache of arms and explosives were also recovered from the terrorist hideouts.

The terrorists were involved in target killings and grenade attacks, ISPR said

In Punjab, Rangers with the assistance of police and intelligence agencies conducted IBOs in various areas of the province including DG Khan, Attock, Islamabad and Lahore.

During the past 48 hours, 19 terrorists and their facilitators were arrested and a large number of illegal weapons and ammunition was recovered, added ISPR.
