At least two operatives of outlawed Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed overnight in the metropolis area of Surjani Town on Wednesday.
According to detail, a police party intercepted four suspected people riding two motorbikes in an area of Surjani Town. The suspected people defied police orders and a shootout ensued.
Two of the terrorists were killed in the exchange of gunfire. The other two managed to flee the scene, according to the police sources.
Police said they recovered weapons and ammunition from the custody of the saboteurs. Police sources said the terrorists hailed from the banned TTP.
