KARACHI: A Karachi mob lynching left one suspected motorcycle snatcher dead and another injured in Gulistan-e-Jauhar’s Block 9, police said on Thursday.
Police said the two suspects had snatched a motorcycle within the Sachal police limits. The owner and other citizens then chased them.
During the pursuit, a car struck the suspects’ motorcycle and knocked them onto the road, according to police.

A crowd then attacked both injured men. One suspect died from his wounds, while police arrested the second in an injured condition.
Officers recovered the snatched motorcycle and weapons from the suspects, police said. The suspects, the motorcycle owner or the driver involved in the chase has not been identified.
