At least two brothers were killed and a woman wounded in a firing incident by dacoits in Kandhkot on Monday.
The shooting took place overnight in Kandhkot area of Ghospura where ten dacoits barged into a house at gun-point. The robbers started spraying bullets when the inmates tried to resist them, killing two brothers on the spot.
Two others including a woman also sustained injuries in the firing incident.
Bodies and the wounded have been shifted to hospital. Later, members of the bereaved family staged a sit-in on National Highway.
