In a bid to diffuse tension between government and opposition parties, head of government’s negotiation committee, governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has left for Karachi to meet Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad today.
Governor Punjab would discuss the political scenario and crisis with governor Sindh and commend the efforts of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) to minimize the ongoing tension.
Chaudary sarwar is also likely to talk to chief MQM Altaf Hussain over the phone.
Earlier, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had formed a team to hold dialogue with the government and the protesting groups in order to end the ongoing political crisis.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief said the next 72 hours were very crucial, adding that the decisions should now be taken immediately.
