The Islamabad Police have reported the discovery of a German diplomat’s body in his apartment within the Diplomatic Enclave, as confirmed by law enforcement.
The individual has been identified as Thomas Fielder, who served as the Second Secretary at the German Embassy in Islamabad.
Officials stated that embassy staff, alarmed by Fielder’s unexplained absence from work for two days, entered his apartment to find him unresponsive. The embassy promptly notified local authorities, who then transported Fielder’s body to a hospital for an autopsy.

The cause of death is currently undetermined, pending the results of the post-mortem examination. Police noted that Fielder had previously experienced a minor heart attack, which may have been a contributing factor.
