A heavy shootout took place between two groups near Bilawal House and outside Bar B Q Tonight.
After shootout security at Bilawal House alarmed as Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Amir Sirajul Haq were meeting in Bilawal House at the time of the incident.
According to sources and eyewitnesses, shootout between two groups started over restaurant table.
According to eyewitness “ Both sides shot bursts at each other and fled away in their double cab pickup trucks, before law enforcers could even reach there.
After the shooters had long gone, Rangers and cops secured the area.
Another eyewitness told reporters that upon hearing the gunshots, people started running here and there for safety.
Fortunately none of the bullets hit anyone at the scene of the shooting as most of the shots fired were somewhat aerial.
Later, police reached the spot to bring the situation under control.
