In a statement Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday strongly condemned the killing of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers by Punjab Police.
Altaf Hussain said that opening fire on peaceful protesters is wrong.
He also advised the government to refrain from using state power against the protesters.
MQM chief also asked opposition to protest within constitutional and legal limits and appealed to the protesting leaders to refrain from inciting violence amongst the masses.
