LONDON: Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” climbed to No. 5 on the UK Official Singles Chart this week, extending a resurgence more than two years after the song’s original release.
The Official Charts Company’s September 18-24 ranking shows the track rising two places from No. 7. “Training Season” originally debuted at No. 4 in February 2024, which remains its UK singles-chart peak.
The renewed chart run follows a surge in the song’s social-media use. TikTok and Instagram users have adopted “Training Season” for a “manifesting” trend centred on relationship expectations, helping drive renewed streaming activity around the track.
Warner Music Japan said on September 16 that the viral short-form video trend had already helped return the song to the UK Top 10. Independent tracking has also recorded expanding activity for both the original recording and its live versions across multiple markets.
Lipa released “Training Season” on February 15, 2024, as the second single from her third studio album, “Radical Optimism.” The track was written with collaborators including Kevin Parker, Caroline Ailin, Danny L Harle and Tobias Jesso Jr.

A “Live From Mexico” version was released on May 28, 2026, as part of Lipa’s concert album and film project. The official performance has drawn more than 3 million YouTube views since its release.
