PTI Chairman Imran Khan has called an urgent meeting of the party’s ‘core committee’ in Islamabad after 14 PTI MPs of KPK Assembly have submitted their resignations to the deputy speaker of the provincial assembly.
The deputy speaker is also part of this group, the MPAs have authorized him to take any decision on their behalf.
This ‘like-minded group’ is protesting against the working of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak. The MPAs have demanded an end to the interference of unauthorised persons in the functioning of the provincial government and they have alleged that the provincial government is not working on PTI manifesto.
