National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) yesterday, held a meeting in Islamabad in which the participants resolved to hang criminals awaiting the death penalty as soon as possible.
The meeting was headed by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The Interior Ministry asked the provincial governments to submit their recommendations for the implementation of the National Action Plan. The meeting expressed a resolve to hold operations against banned outfits functioning under different names.
The meeting prepared a strategy for immediate implementation of the National Action Plan.
Chaudhry Nisar said that “the government has decided to root out terrorism and the Pakistan Army stands with the government in this regard. He urged a better relationship between the provinces and the law enforcement agencies”.
The provinces’ representatives complained about the limited resources upon which Nisar ensured full support to them.
