The World Cup 2026 opening ceremony will feature three host-country events across Mexico, Canada and the United States.
Mexico City will host the first ceremony at Estadio Azteca before Mexico faces South Africa. Shakira and Burna Boy will debut the tournament song “Dai Dai” at the Mexico ceremony.
J Balvin, Tyla, Alejandro Fernández and Maná are also listed among the Mexico City performers. Toronto will stage Canada’s ceremony at BMO Field before Canada faces Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, Elyanna and Nora Fatehi are scheduled to perform in Toronto.

Los Angeles will host the U.S. ceremony at SoFi Stadium before the United States faces Paraguay. Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa of Blackpink and Rema are listed for the Los Angeles event.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the ceremonies would reflect each host nation’s identity and the tournament’s unity.
