Meta enhances WhatsApp’s web version by introducing a custom lists feature in an upcoming update. This feature will enable users to filter chats more effectively. As reported by WABetaInfo, this enhancement will provide a synchronized experience across mobile and desktop platforms.

This feature will allow users to personalize chat filters that are accessible at any time, simplifying the process of locating specific chats—whether with friends, family, or business contacts—through custom lists.

Once a list is created on the mobile app, it will automatically sync with WhatsApp Web, ensuring filters are readily available regardless of the device used. This means if a user creates a custom list like “Family” or “Project Team” on their phone, it will instantly appear on WhatsApp Web.

The consistent, unified user experience across platforms eliminates the need to recreate or manually sync lists. Additionally, this synchronization is particularly beneficial for users who frequently switch between devices or predominantly use the desktop app during work hours.

New WhatsApp Update! 📲 Custom Lists are here to help you prioritize important chats and stay focused. Ditch distractions and stay organized! 🎯✨
