Here are a few options for ALT text for an image named "Osama-bin-Laden.jpg" in a post about him, ranging in descriptiveness and neutrality. The best choice will depend on the specific context and tone of the post. **Option 1 (Neutral & Informative - good for news or historical context):** > A black and white photograph of Osama bin Laden. **Option 2 (Slightly more descriptive, still neutral):** > A portrait of Osama bin Laden, the former leader of al-Qaeda, from the chest up. **Option 3 (If the image shows him in a specific setting or with a particular expression - *only use if accurate*):** > Osama bin Laden is shown in a candid photograph, looking directly at the camera. **Option 4 (If the image is well-known or iconic):** > An iconic image of Osama bin Laden. **Important Considerations for ALT Text:** * **Accuracy:** The ALT text must accurately describe what is in the image. * **Conciseness:** Keep it brief and to the point. * **Context:** Consider the surrounding text of the post. What is the *purpose* of showing this image? * **Avoid Redundancy:** Don't start with "Image of" or "Picture of." * **Keywords (if appropriate):** If the post is about a specific event or period, you might include relevant keywords, but don't stuff them in. * **Accessibility:** The primary goal is to convey the image's content to visually impaired users. **Why the filename is tricky:** The filename "Osama-bin-Laden.jpg" is already very descriptive. However, ALT text is for *describing the visual content* to someone who cannot see it, not just stating the subject's name. **Which to choose?** For a general post about Osama bin Laden, **Option 1 or 2** are usually the safest and most effective. If the image is particularly famous or has a specific, recognizable pose, you might lean towards **Option 3 or 4**, but always ensure accuracy.

US Navy SEAL had photo of Osama bin Laden’s corpse: Report

An ex United States (US) Navy SEAL kept an unauthorised photo of Osama bin Laden’s dead body on a computer that he turned over to investigators, US-based news website The Intercept reported earlier yesterday.

The discovery came after Matthew Bissonnette, who shot Osama in the famous 2011 raid on the Al Qaeda leader’s compound in Pakistan, gave investigators a copy of his hard drive.

He had been under investigation for allegedly revealing classified information in his book about the incident, “No Easy Day”.

Bissonnette gave investigators his hard drive as part of a deal to avoid prosecution over the material, two people familiar with the deal told The Intercept.

On it, they found the photo and documents detailing Bissonnette’s work as a consultant while also serving with SEAL Team 6, the Intercept reported.

The US government has never released images of Osama’s body and says the Al Qaeda leader was buried at sea shortly after the raid.

President Barack Obama has cited national security risks and said the US should not brandish “trophies” of its victory.

Robert Luskin, an attorney for Bissonnette, told The Intercept his client had previously been under investigation, but the Department of Justice closed that probe in August.

Luskin said he brokered a deal in 2014 for Bissonnette to give the US government some of his millions of dollars in book profits. He did not comment on the purported photo, or whether an investigation remained open.

Aside from the image, some of the records found on Bissonnette’s computer were not part of the non-prosecution deal, so led to a widening probe being conducted by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, The Intercept reported.

Investigators have started looking into Bissonnette’s business deals, and whether he inappropriately used his SEAL connections to help in ventures with military equipment-supply firms, The Intercept wrote.

Osama bin Laden was killed in May 2011 when SEALs stormed his hideaway in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
