NEW YORK, United States: A US federal building attack left two people with minor injuries after a suspect deployed an incendiary device outside 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan on Monday.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. local time, 5:30 p.m. PKT, when smoke and flames erupted near the building’s entrance. Officers detained the suspect at the scene, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
FBI Director Kash Patel said authorities had recorded two minor injuries. The New York Fire Department said at least one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary information indicated that the detained person carried anti-ICE material. Other reports said investigators recovered a cart containing fireworks, airsoft weapons and additional items.
