Washington, United States: President Donald Trump planned to convene his Cabinet on Wednesday as talks with Iran continued through indirect channels.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said indirect contacts with the United States were continuing.
South Korea summoned Iran’s ambassador after an attack on a South Korean-operated vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. Yonhap reported that investigators linked the strike to Iranian-developed anti-ship missiles.
Trump also spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Axios reported.
