Tribal elder among four killed in Balochistan ambush

At least four persons, including a tribal elder and his son, were killed and three personnel of Levies Force were injured in an ambush in Balochistan on Wednesday.

Levies officials said a local tribal elder along with his son, private security guards and Levies Force personnel was on way from Kharan to Sia Kamb area when his vehicle came under fire by unidentified assailants on national highway in Sorab area of Kalat district.

“Tribal elder Ali Muhammad, his son and two private security guards received multiple bullet wounds which caused their instant death while three Levies personnel riding in another vehicle sustained bullet wounds,” they said.

Local people and Levies Force shifted the dead and injured to hospital where condition of the injured Levies personnel is said to be critical
