Actor Timothée Chalamet said his New York Knicks fandom had taken a physical toll during the NBA Finals, sharing a photo of himself icing his knees in Texas.
The “Dune” actor posted the image on Instagram Stories on June 4, one day after watching the Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. He wore a royal blue Knicks T-shirt in the photo.
Chalamet wrote that people underestimate the “wear and tear” on a fan’s body during the playoffs. He added that “self-care is important,” using massage and laughing emojis.
The Knicks reposted the image on their official X account the same day. The team wrote, “rest up, Knicks fam. We’re back in it tomorrow.”
Chalamet has become a regular courtside presence during the Knicks’ postseason run. The New York Post reported June 4 that he posted the knee-icing photo from Texas as the team prepared for Game 2 against San Antonio.
The actor also drew attention during the Eastern Conference Finals. He and Kylie Jenner celebrated from their seats after the Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 on May 25.
