Celebrations turned into a nighmare as more than 50 guests fell seriously ill after eating poisonous food in a wedding ceremony in Korangi area of Karachi late yesterday night.
According to rescue sources, the affected people were shifted to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment where most of the patients were said to be in stable condition.
Police have started investigation of the incident. No arrests have been made so far.
