The International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched ticket sales for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup. More than two million tickets are available in this initial phase. India and Sri Lanka will co-host the tournament from February 7 to March 8, 2026. The ICC has set an affordable pricing strategy to maximise fan access.

Tickets in India start at INR 100 (approximately $1.20 USD). In Sri Lanka, the entry price begins at LKR 1,000 (approximately $3.30 USD). This first-phase pricing aims to give all fans a fair chance to attend. Details for the second phase of ticket sales will be announced later.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta called this launch an “important milestone.” He stated the goal is to deliver “the most accessible and global ICC event ever staged.” Gupta emphasised their vision for the tournament. “Every fan, regardless of background, geography or financial means, should have the chance to access an in-stadia experience,” he said.

The 10th edition of the men’s T20 World Cup will feature 20 national teams. They will be divided into four groups of five during the initial stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight round. The tournament schedule kicks off on February 7, 2026.

The opening day will feature two matches. Pakistan will take on the Netherlands in one fixture. Hosts and defending champions India will play the United States in Mumbai. The group stage concludes on February 20 with a match between Australia and Oman.

The Super Eight stage runs from February 21 to March 1, 2026. The two semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and March 5. The tournament final will be played on March 8, 2026. The venue for the final will be either Ahmedabad, India, or Colombo, Sri Lanka.
