Airport Security Force at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on Tuesday arrested a 40-year-old man from a private airliner carrying 300 passengers that landed in Lahore.
According to sources, the flight captain alerted the ground crew over the suspicious passenger aboard. The nature of the threat is still unknown. The passenger has been held for questioning.
The suspect was transferred to an undisclosed location for investigation.
The ground staff called anti-terrorist squad who escorted the aircraft to the Hajj terminal after landing. The suspect was arrested from the aircraft and was transferred to an undisclosed location for investigation.
The aircraft was cleared after it was established that no other passenger was suspicious and that the suspect wasn’t carrying any weapons.
