SKARDU, Gilgit-Baltistan: The Pakistan Airports Authority has opened bidding for a Skardu Airport ATC tower, fire station and allied facilities, with proposals due August 27.
The project covers civil, mechanical and electrical works, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and supporting infrastructure, as per the published tender details.
The authority invited firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-A and possessing the required specialisation codes for civil, building, mechanical and electrical engineering.
The procurement will follow a single-stage, two-envelope procedure using the least-cost-based selection method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.

Tender documents require bidders to provide a bank guarantee of Rs 100 million as bid security. Financial proposals must be uploaded through the federal government’s EPADS v2.0 procurement platform.
The authority set 11 am on August 27, 2026, as the submission deadline. It plans to open the proposals at 12:30 pm the same day.
A pre-bid meeting will take place at the project director’s office at Skardu International Airport at 11 am on August 13.
Project Director Kashif Ali will oversee tender-related correspondence. The Pakistan Airports Authority maintains its current procurement notices on its official tender portal.
