Seven people belonging to the same family were killed in a house in the Kahi area of Hangu district.
Unidentified armed men entered the house and fired on the people inside, killing all of them, including two women. According to reports, the victims belonged to one family of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and the bodies of the deceased were taken to District Headquarters hospital (DHQ). Police said that a case has been filed against the suspects and a search operation is also underway.
