At least seven family were killed in a road accident in Chiniot when a passenger van collided with a dumper in Sunday early morning hours.
The roadside accident took place on Lahore Road where the passenger van en-route Mandi Bahaud Din to Jhang was hit by a dumper coming from the opposite side, leaving seven of a family dead and four others wounded.
The unfortunate family was going to Jhang to attend a funeral of their relative.
The deceased are said to belong to Mandi Bahaud Din.
The wounded have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Chiniot.
