LAHORE: Actress Aruba Mirza shared screenshots of alleged Saqib Chadhar Instagram messages on Thursday, saying the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmaker had repeatedly attempted to contact her.
The Saqib Chadhar Instagram messages appeared to show several attempts to begin a conversation. One message asked them to continue chatting on Snapchat.
Mirza posted the screenshots to her Instagram Stories. She wrote: “Momina Iqbal and Syeda Tauba and also me, this is the reality of our ruling class.”
Her post did not accuse Chadhar of threatening or harassing her. It also did not establish independently that he controlled the account shown in the screenshots.

The Punjab Assembly’s official directory identifies Muhammad Saqib Khan as the PML-N member for PP-97 Chiniot-IV.
Mirza’s disclosure followed a separate harassment case filed by actress Momina Iqbal. On July 28, National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency Lahore SHO Najam Bajwa told a sessions court that the agency’s investigation had found Chadhar culpable in Iqbal’s complaint.

The NCCIA statement represented an investigative conclusion, not a criminal conviction. Chadhar previously denied Iqbal’s allegations, describing them as false and unfounded, in his statement to the agency.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui extended the interim pre-arrest bail of Chadhar and his wife until September 3. The court directed both sides to present their final arguments at the next hearing.
