Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, expanding its laptop lineup with a device that promises revolutionary performance and connectivity.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro was released months after the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. The latest model incorporates the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, Lunar Lake, and showcases sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) features.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro is available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and features a vibrant Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display. This display has an anti-reflective coating and a Vision Booster feature for optimal viewing in various lighting conditions.
The Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (Lunar Lake) powers the laptop. It includes a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of performing up to 47 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
Galaxy Book 5 Pro Advanced AI Integration
The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro integrates on-device AI capabilities through Microsoft’s Copilot+ platform and Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite. Features like AI Select allow users to highlight and search parts of the screen directly on the web. The NPU enables Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to select text from images and scan QR codes. In addition, the Photo Remaster feature enhances outdated images to high-definition resolution.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro includes a webcam with Staggered HDR technology, a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, and an impressive battery life of up to 25 hours on a single charge. It offers Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader, ensuring that users can connect to other devices.
