Actor Sadie Sink addressed speculation about her secret role in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” but said audiences must wait until the film reaches cinemas to learn her character’s identity.
Sink discussed the theories in a promotional video released Friday, July 18. She said she had seen numerous fan predictions about whom she might portray in the Marvel film.
The “Stranger Things” actor offered three playful confirmations: she is not Spider-Man, she is not Aunt May, and she will appear in the movie.
Sink stopped short of disclosing further details, telling viewers that her actual identity would be revealed in cinemas.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have not announced her character, allowing online speculation to continue before the film’s release.

Fan theories have linked Sink to several characters, including Mary Jane, Spider-Woman and Jean Grey. None of those suggestions has received official confirmation from the studios or the actor.
