Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will connect to “Avengers: Doomsday” through Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner.
Feige said Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, will appear in the new Spider-Man film before returning in “Avengers: Doomsday.”
The confirmation makes Hulk one of the first characters linked to both upcoming Marvel films. Fans had questioned Ruffalo’s involvement after he was seen during filming and briefly appeared in promotional footage.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” brings back Tom Holland as Peter Parker after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” where the world forgot Spider-Man’s identity.
The film will follow Peter as he tries to move forward while protecting New York from a new threat.
