Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will reunite for a new Disney+ docuseries about the Bonds Flying Roos, the SailGP team the actors co-own.
The untitled series will follow the Australian sailing team through a fast-paced international racing season, according to details shared about the project.
The show will feature behind-the-scenes access to team management, race preparation and the pressure of high-speed sailing. SailGP boats can reach speeds of up to 100 km per hour.
Reynolds and Jackman said the series will include action, humour and heart, while showing life on the water through the team’s competitive season.
Maximum Effort and Eureka Productions are producing the project. The series also follows Reynolds’ earlier documentary-style sports work, which focused on a football club and drew strong audience interest.
