As jubilant Russian troops poured into Crimea, groups of disconsolate Ukrainian soldiers trudged out leaving Crimea firmly in Russian hands. Some troops do continue to hold out while most have sworn their allegiance to the new pro-Moscow government.
Meanwhile most Crimeans were already clamoring for Russian passports.
