TOKYO: Joe Hiramoto delivered a RIZIN 54 knockout, stopping Ryoma “Jolly” Shishimoto after 96 seconds on Aug. 11, 2026, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Koto, according to RIZIN.
The RIZIN Fighting Federation said Hiramoto countered Shishimoto’s right straight with a left hook and then a right hook. Officials recorded the finish as a knockout by standing punches.
Shishimoto left the ring on a stretcher and went to a hospital, Japanese combat-sports outlet eFight reported. He later posted a 3D scan and said the knockout broke his jaw, according to the outlet.
Before the bout, Shishimoto performed a choreographed routine to South Korean girl group ILLIT’s “It’s Me,” according to TMZ. Video of the entrance later circulated widely on social media.

The official RIZIN result listed the 57-kilogram contest under RIZIN MMA rules, with three five-minute rounds scheduled. Hiramoto needed only 1:36 to end it.
