LAHORE, Punjab: The Punjab government linked more than 6,000 systems through its Punjab paperless governance programme, officials said. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reviewed the rollout by video link.
Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf presented the figures during the review. He said e-FOAS had connected 600 organisations and institutions.
The briefing said e-Procurement had processed PKR 6 trillion in purchases and 1.29 million tenders. More than 25,000 suppliers had joined the system.
Officials said e-Auction had registered 3,784 bidders and generated PKR 527 billion in revenue.
The government said more than four million people had applied for 110 services through “Maryam Ki Dastak.” Over 3.1 million citizens had received services at home.

The programme operates through 9,800 representatives across Punjab. Officials said departmental secretaries must review cases that remain unresolved after 10 days.

Maryam Nawaz said paperless automation would reduce office visits and limit direct interaction with officials. She directed PITB to gather continuous feedback from applicants.
