LAHORE: Punjab Livestock Card Phase III applications opened on July 15, offering eligible farmers interest-free loans of up to Rs540,000, the provincial government said.
The Government of Punjab launched the latest phase to support livestock farmers, raise their incomes and increase milk and meat production across the province.
Farmers can use the financing to buy livestock feed, silage, mineral mixtures and other approved nutritional products from registered dealers.
Beneficiaries may also withdraw up to 25% of their approved loan amount in cash. The Punjab government said this facility would help farmers meet other essential livestock-related expenses.
