Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a top level meeting with COAS Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Zaheer ul Islam, CGS Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
The COAS briefed the Prime Minister on the military’s position on talks with the TTP.
The meeting was mainly focused on strategies relating to peace talks with TTP as well as today’s incident at the Islamabad court.
