Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called on Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and discussed bilateral relations today.
Sources said the premier and Iran’s spiritual leader discussed Pak-Iran relations and vowed to further strengthen ties between the two neighbors.
On Sunday, prime minister Nawaz Sharif had met Iranian president Hassan Rouhani. They agreed (in principle) to continue with the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project.
