The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has honoured six India and Pakistan cricket’s living legends.
The six cricketers from both sides include, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag Imran Khan, Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee handed over mementoes.
Imran Khan addressing appreciated the welcome have been given in Kolkata. He hoped for a great game and that the result is the same as when he last played at Eden Gardens.
Tendulkar said: “Nice to see the stalwarts from Pakistan, we welcome them here … we hope for a fantastic match, let’s enjoy cricket above all.”
Amitabh Bachchan said that “may the better team win today’s match and peace prevail between India and Pakistan.
